FIRST FRIDAY ACADEMY: Mindfulness - The Art of Being Present
Thứ Sáu, 15-02 2019

“The feeling that any task is a nuisance will soon disappear if it is done in mindfulness.”
– Thích Nhất Hạnh
As of today, we are 46 days into 2019, and we bet some of us are already feeling overwhelmed with responsibilities and tasks. How many of you have thought of, or have tried to get things done as much as possible, simultaneously? Multitasking is said to be a crucial skill to check things off the list; yet, do you know multitasking actually reduces our performance, slows us down, and gradually lowers our IQ as it introduces an excessive cognitive load to our brains?

The key to work efficiently is to tackle one task at a time; and to do so with full concentration.  In other words, to cultivate mindfulness in everything we do. We are also advised to allocate our time and energy effectively in order to set the conditions for sustained high performance -- either at school or at work.

The ISB Leadership Program is glad to invite an expert in Mindfulness Consultation & Life Coaching to February's First Friday seminar to support you in starting the new year off right - a seminar dedicated to
